Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is an acclaimed American actor. She's appeared in many films and TV series, including "Christy" which is a story of a girl called Christy Huddleston. Kellie Martin is best known for her performance as the main character of the Hailey Dean Mystery Series. Martin began her acting career at the age of was seven. The aunt of her mother, who served as the nanny for actor Michael Landon's children, was a big help in landing her one small part on the 1982 TV series Father Murphy. After she graduated from Yale University in 1982, Martin began to take her acting profession more seriously. She landed significant roles on TV as well as big screens. Martin was also a photographer and a dancer. She is a mother of two. she is the national spokesperson for Lupus and is constantly spreading awareness regarding the disease after her sister passed away from it at around 19 years old.
